Why Schladming is featured
Schladming earns its Featured spot for jump lines that invite lap after lap. The 99 Jumpline is a standout, with beautifully shaped jumps that encourage flow and style, while the Monster Jumpline adds another reason to keep heading back up. Advanced riders with jumping experience will get the most from these lines, but a relaxed blue flow trail and plenty of technical riding broaden the appeal. Around two days is a good length for the main park alone. The mid-station stop, with a local Schladminger beer, adds to the experience.
- Best for
- Experienced jump riders, with easier flow and technical alternatives
The riding
Bikepark Schladming uses the Planai gondola for lift-accessed riding. The Flowline and BikeArea provide a progression option, while jump lines and technical downhill tracks give experienced riders more demanding choices. The operator also identifies the UphillFlowTrail and PlanaiRunde for pedal-powered riding.
For autumn 2026, Planai lists daily operation from 8 October to 1 November. From 25 October, the last bike ascent is at 16:00 and the park closes at 17:00; check the operator’s calendar and trail status before travelling.
The area
Schladming is a mountain town in Styria, Austria, beneath Planai in the Schladming-Dachstein region. Stay in town for access to the gondola, local services and the surrounding mountain scenery. Planai also has walking paths and views towards the Dachstein massif.
